Flying squid travel more efficiently in air than water
Contrary to previous theories that these supersquid fly out of the water to avoid predators it has now been suggested that this could be the creatures most efficient method of travel.
Is it a bird, is it a plane, no it’s a squid firing water from its mantles to efficiently propel itself out of the water in order to conserve energy for long distance travel.
